David Chansolme, M.D.

Mark Patrick Verity, M.D.

Miranda McGhee, M.D.

David Chansolme, M.D.

Dr. Chansolme is a physician, board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases at Infectious Diseases Consultants of Oklahoma City’s south location. He has been in private practice since 2004 and sees patients in both a hospital and office setting. Dr. Chansolme is from Oklahoma City and graduated from Bishop McGuinness High School in Oklahoma City in 1989. He received a bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA before matriculating through the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1997.

After completing his internal medicine residency at Tulane University, Dr. Chansolme was selected as a chief resident in the department of internal medicine. He then completed a fellowship in subspecialty training in infectious diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an internationally recognized institution for infectious diseases care.

Dr. Chansolme performed research in syphilis, bioterrorism, yersinia pestis infections, transplant related infections, HIV associated malignancies, and other fields of interest. He moved back to Oklahoma City in 2004 and opened a practice dedicated 100% to the care of patients with infectious diseases.

Dr. Chansolme serves on a number of boards around the Oklahoma City metropolitan area and is dedicated to being an active part of the community. He lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and four children.

Andrea R. Scott, D.O.

Dr. Andrea Scott is a board-certified physician in infectious diseases and internal medicine at Infectious Diseases Consultants of Oklahoma City’s south location. She specializes in treating a variety of infectious diseases encompassing both inpatient and outpatient medicine.

Dr. Scott was born and raised in Missouri. She attended the University of Missouri-Columbia for her undergraduate education. She then attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. She moved to Chicago where she was a resident and then Chief Resident at Lutheran General Hospital. She finished her education at Loyola University Medical Center as an Infectious Diseases Fellow. She served 1 year on the Oklahoma AIDs Care Foundation Board. She is currently taking part in the Integris Health Emerging Leaders Academy.

Dr. Scott moved to Oklahoma in 2014 and she joined Dr. Chansolme at Infectious Diseases Consultants of OKC. She is happily married with 3 children. 

Mark Patrick Verity, M.D.

Located at Infectious Diseases Consultants of Oklahoma City North, Mark Patrick Verity, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine, with many years of experience caring for patients in a variety of settings.

Dr. Verity first earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2016, before completing his residency in internal medicine from OU in 2019. He then completed his infectious diseases fellowship before serving as a hospitalist at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Dr. Verity has assisted in numerous publications and presentations as well as participating in COVID-19 research before joining the Infectious Diseases Consultants of Oklahoma City team in 2021.

Miranda McGhee, M.D.

Miranda McGhee practices at Infectious Diseases Consultants of Oklahoma City’s north location along with Dr. Verity. She is board certified in internal medicine and has a history of fighting on the front lines of infectious diseases.

Dr. McGhee earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2015, then moved on to an internal medicine residency at OU in 2018, where she became Chief Resident. She then completed a fellowship in infectious diseases, before beginning her career as a hospitalist at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Dr. McGhee holds memberships in many professional groups and has contributed to numerous conferences and presentations. She participated in COVID-19 research before joining the Infectious Diseases Consultants of Oklahoma City team in 2021.
